Review of L’OCCITANE Shea Butter Comforting Cream #ineedshea

Hey guys!

So in this post, I’m reviewing yet another item that I received for free in my Refresh Voxbox, courtesy of Influenster. As started in the previous posts, I received this item for free for testing purposes, but all opinions are my own. Now let’s get started!

P

The product I’m reviewing is L’OCCITANE Shea Butter Comforting Cream. I got a small sample to try, 8 ml, and that goes for about 5 USD. They also offer a 50ml bottle for 28 USD. So this cream is a little bit more upscale than your typical drugstore brand lotion. It also has shea butter in it, which is really good for hydrating your skin and keeping it soft and smooth.

I’ve been using the sample on my face for the past week. I have to say, I am honestly very happy about the results. It is winter, so the harsh weather has been doing a number on my skin. My skin has been very flaky and peely as well as feeling rough to the touch. It also lack color and I just looked really pasty and pale.

The cream goes on very smooth and dries very quickly. It’s really light and is quickly absorbed into the skin. It also doesn’t leave an oily residue which is awesome. I saw results in my skin within two hours of application. My skin was noticeably smoother and softer. It also brightened up my whole face. In a couple of days, my skin when from flaky and dry to hydrated and velvety. I’m extremely satisfied with this product and am planning on buying a full sized bottle when my sample runs out. The only downside is that this lotion is a little bit more money than I’d like the shell out, but you get what you pay for and this product is very high quality.

My overall rating is 9/10. The L’OCCITANE Shea Butter Comforting Cream left my skin bright, smooth, softer, and more hydrated just hours after use. A 8ml bottle is 5 USD and a 50ml is 28 USD which is a little bit pricey, but definitely well worth the money.

Thanks for reading and hope you found this review helpful!
