Back with another post. Today I’m doing a review of a Francois et Mimi Vintage Double Wall French Coffee Press. You can check out their amazon page here. I received this product for free in exchange to test and review honestly. Here’s a picture of the product:
So this is a really really fancy french press. The stainless steel finish is really nice and the handle has a lot of exquisite designs. It’s extremely sturdy, a little bit heavy but that’s stainless steel for you. It can hold up to 34 ounces or 1000 ml. It’s also double walled which is awesome because it will really keep your coffee warmer for a long time. The only problem that I had with this press is that the plunger scrapes against the metal when you push it down, and it makes a really awful scraping noise. It’s really not pleasant to listen to. It’s also about 40 USD, which to me, seems a little bit expensive. I think that you could get a french press that does the same job for a way lower price.
My rating is 7 out of 10. The finish and appearance of this french press is unmatched, but the metal on metal scraping noise and the price make me lower my rating.
