In this post I’m doing a review of Vita Sciences’ Maxasorb Melatonin Cream. You can check out their amazon page here or their website here. I received this product in exchange to test and review honestly. All opinions are my own. Here’s a picture of the product:
Here are some things that the company claims that this Melatonin cream can help with:
- Regulate sleep due to insomnia or jet lag
- Made with all natural ingredients
- Measured pump delivers 3 mg of Melatonin
- Gentle on the skin
And here’s the product description:
Melatonin is the hormone that controls daily day-night cycles of sleep. Some sleep disorders, such as insomnia and Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome (DSPS), are attributed to low melatonin levels.
Travelers suffering from jet lag and swing shift workers may also benefit from supplemented melatonin.
As we age our bodies do not make sufficient melatonin. Sleep enhancement is possible in healthy people as well with additional melatonin that may:
*Decrease the time needed to fall asleep
*Increase sleep duration.
Each measured dose of Maxasorb Melatonin lotion from our airless dispenser delivers 3 milligrams of melatonin with a full press of the pump. Just before bedtime, rub the easily absorbed, odorless lotion on your arms or legs.
For travelers trying to ease the effects of jet lag, apply Maxasorb Melatonin lotion the day of travel close to the target bedtime at your destination. This will aid in falling asleep faster, improves alertness during the day, and reduces daytime fatigue.
Use the product throughout the trip and for a week after return to help your body readjust its natural sleep cycle. Natural ingredients assure this lotion is gentle to your skin.
I’m not really sure if I believe everything they’re claiming. It seems a little bit far fetched to me and I haven’t really been noticing a difference in the way that I’ve been sleeping in the week or so that I’ve been using this product. But that’s fine because the lotion itself is really nice and my skin really agrees with it.
My rating is 5 out of 10. This seems a little bit far fetched to me and I haven’t noticed any change for the better in my sleep patterns, or any change at all. I do like the lotion though. It really agrees with my skin.
